Amidst a global pandemic, the GPE had never been more aware of the importance of ensuring an education for millions of vulnerable children. Ahead of their global summit in London, they approached AP Content Services to create and produce text, video and photographic content that would raise their profile and set the mark for highlighting their “$5 billion in 5 years” campaign that comprised their summit key messaging.
Our international production team produced a combination of VNR content, photographic stories and written articles across several different countries (including Rwanda, Sudan, Niger and Pakistan), capturing the educational challenges specific to each country, as well as the impact of COVID-19 on national educational infrastructures.
A wide variety of content styles ensured that the GPE could utilize AP’s comprehensive range of dissemination platforms, giving them worldwide exposure to broadcasters and AP subscribers.
The produced content was carefully tailored to a mid-term media strategy that guided GPE to a dissemination route and complemented their timescale in the lead-up to their summit.
The project was tied together with summit coverage that encapsulated the annual event and provided GPE with a news package including a statement from UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, which was made available for broadcast use within an hour of the event taking place.
GPE is a shared commitment to ending the world’s learning crisis. The organization mobilizes partners and funds to support 76 lower-income countries to transform their education systems so that every child can get the quality education they need to unlock their full potential and contribute to building a better world.
