Driving maximum exposure of the future of transportation

Services provided

  • Product launch publicity
  • Video News Release (VNR) creation
  • Global video distribution
  • Extensive usage across broadcast and digital platforms

Challenge

Daimler engaged AP Content Services to distribute the launch film of the Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 – the self-driving truck of the future, for its world premiere.

The launch was scheduled to take place on a highway near Magdeburg, Germany, and it was imperative that video reached global media organizations and digital publishers as soon as possible to enable maximum coverage of this world-first innovation.

Solution

Speed of distribution was the number one priority for Daimler, and to ensure the launch film and accompanying press release reached the world’s media promptly, AP Content Services’ video distribution solution was selected.

Our team compiled the video news release (VNR) and distributed directly into the newsrooms of the world’s broadcasters, whilst also making the content package available to download online via our Multimedia Newsroom for digital publishers.

AP Content Services tracked broadcast usage and online downloads. Broadcasters used the Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 world premiere video over 80 times across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
